Hindu Devotee applies sindoor during Chhat Puja Festival

A Hindu devotee applies sindoor or vermillion during celebrations for the Chhat Puja festival at Ranchi Lake in Ranchi on Saturday, October 24, 2009. Hindu devotees worship the sun god and fast all day for the betterment of their family and society during the festival.
